This filter cartridge is formed from SS316L stainless steel powder into a rigid, interconnected porous metal matrix, giving the filtration layer structural strength without relying on woven, pleated or polymer media. Filtration ratings from 0.5–100 μm can be selected according to the required pore grade. The pictured cartridge uses a 226/Flat SOE configuration: dual 226 O-rings and bayonet-style locking tabs at the open end with a flat closed end. This connection identification is consistent with established cartridge fitting guides, which distinguish 226 connections by their double O-rings and locking mechanism.
The porous 316L structure can be specified for compatible liquid and gas duties such as process liquids, solvents, chemical streams, catalyst recovery and process-gas particle filtration. Depending on the contaminant and process, the element can be regenerated by liquid backwashing/backflushing, gas blowback, ultrasonic cleaning, steam or compatible chemical cleaning. High-temperature capability depends on the complete construction and sealing material; suitable all-metal 316L sintered elements can operate around 400°C, while elastomer seals may impose a lower limit. Multiple pore grades, lengths and end configurations can be produced for replacement cartridges, OEM equipment and industrial filtration solutions.
