This side-entry single bag filter housing is designed around one supported filter bag installed inside a stainless steel pressure vessel. Liquid enters through the side connection, flows through the bag media and leaves through the bottom outlet, creating a simple flow path that is widely used in industrial bag filtration. SS304 and SS316L are common housing materials, while #1 and #2 are the standard bag sizes for this configuration. Swing eye-bolt closures are also widely used because they provide full access to the basket and filter bag without requiring complex tools.
Typical applications include industrial water prefiltration, chemical liquid filtration, lubricating and metalworking oil filtration, and paints, inks, resins and coatings. These are established single-bag housing applications rather than generic industry claims. The actual filtration rating, temperature limit and chemical compatibility depend on the selected filter bag and gasket materials, while flanged, threaded and sanitary connections allow the housing to be adapted to different process lines. This makes the unit suitable for industrial filtration solutions where suspended solids need to be removed before downstream equipment or later filtration stages.
